Ended the 2008 season in the best possible fashion with victory in the 21st and final Volvo Masters, his second European Tour title. The two shot victory at Valderrama over Martin Kaymer and Anthony Wall saw him win the biggest European Tour cheque of his career and move to tenth on the Order of Merit, his highest finish in his 11 years on Tour. It also saw him gain sweet revenge for the end of the 2007 season when he lost a play-off for the Volvo Masters to eventual champion Justin Rose.... |
